Haoyu Yang

Hi! I'm Haoyu Yang (She/Her), currently a game technical designer based in Los Angeles. I graduated from New York University at the end of 2023 with the degree of Bachelor of Arts in Computer and Data Science from the College of Arts and Science, minoring in Game Design and Web Programming and Applications. I'm set to pursue a Master of Science degree in Game Design and Development at the School of Cinematic Arts, University of Southern California.

Some fun facts about me:
  1. The game I've played the longest is "League of Legends," which I've been playing for nearly a decade since middle school.
  2. My favorite indie game was "Inside" for a long time.
  3. My recent favorite game is "Baldur's Gate 3."
  4. My hobbies and profession are highly aligned: playing games.

Hi！我是杨皓宇，目前是一名base在洛杉矶的游戏技术策划。我在2023年底取得纽约大学的计算机与数据科学的本科学位，同时辅修游戏设计和网络编程与应用，并即将在南加州大学电影学院攻读游戏设计与开发的硕士学位。

关于我的一些fun facts：

#1 A Murder Drama of Cartier Family (2024)


While you were admiring the eerie and bizarre artworks with curiosity in the creepy art gallery, a terrified scream shattered the silence. Rushing to the scene, you found a middle-aged woman dressed in luxurious clothes lying in a pool of blood, a middle-aged man cradling her body, a boy around twenty years old sobbing nearby, and a teenage girl with furrowed brows, looking scared with her body shaking. While wondering, the woman’s ghost materialized beside you and yelled at them,  “The murderer!”

#2 Silent Echos (2024)


This is a story of an "traveller." Awoken by the crash of a car and the sirens of an ambulance, moving forward in the darkness guided by the faint light sparked by the tapping of a cane. Who am I? Where am I? What am I doing? Where am I going? As I navigate the puzzles in the dark, everything will be revealed in the moment I step into the light.

这是一个“旅行者”的故事。在汽车的碰撞声和救护车的鸣笛声醒来，在黑暗中凭着拐杖敲击声激起的微弱光芒前进。我是谁？我在哪里？我在干什么？我将去哪里？穿过黑暗中的谜题，在迎接光芒的那一刻，一切都将被揭晓。

#3 Last Call (2024)


Last Call is a strategic board game adapted from Up the River. In the game, players take on the roles of passengers rushing to catch a flight, needing to reach the boarding gate with their luggage on time in order to successfully board the plane. The game features Action cards and Opportunity cards, which players can use to move or to assist or hinder other players.

Last Call是一个策略性的桌游，由Up the River改编而成。在游戏中，玩家将扮演一名赶飞机的乘客，需要同时在规定的时间内带着行李到达登机口以成功搭乘飞机。游戏中有行动卡和机会卡，玩家可以使用它们进行移动或者对其他玩家的帮助或阻碍。

Intern to Icon is a startegy-based role-playing board game where players assume the roles of graduate students aiming to secure internships and advance their careers in the gaming industry. Each player selects a unique character with distinct starting attributes. Throughout the game, players utilize event cards and strategic planning to develop the skills necessary to land internships at various gaming companies.
